Hi, I'm a freshman in UAlbany right now with a 3.0 gpa. I applied to Hunter for transfer and got in but I might be failing my Bio and/or Chem class this semester. But I also changed my major from Bio to Computer Science. Will this affect the acceptance and possibly lead to them rescinding the acceptance?

It’s possible since you listed that you were going to take the classes on your application and the decision to accept you was made with the assumption that you would pass those courses.

Pass your classes.

Call Hunter and what their policy is for rescinding admission.

Right now I’m looking up the conditions for rescinding but I can only find it for their nursing program. Right now, they’re waiting for my spring semester credits. They already received 19 credits from my first semester and I had 2 Cs (bio and bio lab) 2 As (ENG 121 and Freshmen Seminar) and 2 Bs (Chem and Chem Lab).
