Well, I got accepted into NYU already and I passed all my course. But I failed my physics regents! This was due to the fact that I was really sick that day. However, I have already taken more than enough science (took 4 science regents and passed 3, failed physics) courses to satisfy my NYU's minimum science requirements. So my question is, will my admission be rescind? My school has allowed every to retake the regents but is it possible for me to not take the regents since I already have more then enough credits to graduate?

I do not think colleges care to much about the Regents exam. It is just a state standardized test. They care more about grades but I do not think that one bad grade in a non-required class will lead to you losing your acceptance.

I don't know how NYU works, but at most schools, unless you're planning on majoring in engineering or one of the hard sciences you only need 3 years of sciences to be admitted. Since Regents Physics is usually a senior year class (or at least it was when I was in H.S.) you shouldn't worry too much about being rescinded.
