bethlikesun, doogie said physics (one of the hardest, i have heard)

regents passing is 55 i think (come on is it even possible to do that bad?)
to get a regents diploma u have to take 5 regents i believe, and pass at least 4 of them with a 55. sad right?
i dont know about individual school procedures, i.e. some teachers are stupid and they use the regents score as a final mark for the class, and other teachers dont factor it into ur grade at all. in my school i think if u fail a June regents, you take it in the middle of the next school year. in my middle school if u failed a regents u had to go 2 summer school and then take it in august

and i am not sure that the regents is like the SAT and AP.. because u have to have had a required length of class time (and in the sciences, lab time) per year. i mean like u cant just opt to take it any given month. ah i dunno

90% of NY schools average your regents grade into your GPA.. if you fail, the failing grade gets averaged in. You must also retake it in august and pass. The passing grade will replace the failure but your final grade in the subject you took it for will not change.. thus still having the average of all four quarters and the failing regents grade. I had chemistry today.. wasn't that easy either, especially the MC.. I know I passed, I just wanted to do well because 20% of your final grade can really make you or break you. I hate NY state.

stop complaining, i dont do that well in physics (b+) average, and all the studying i did consisted of taking 3 practice tests, and this one was a piece of cake.

no one on this site would ever fail a regents ... they are all so easy ... every single one ... even chem and physics its not hard at all to get a 90 let alone pass despite that everyone says theyre hard ... its like the math a regents ... it is sooo easy but they had to make it easier for the "gangsters" lol who dont do any work the whole year
