I am applying EA to Fairfield University. Here are my stats. What are my chances for getting into their Honors Program? Any chance for getting any merit scholarship?

GPA: 3.8 unweighted, 4.5 weighted
SAT: 1440
Courses: 6 APS, rest Honors, 2 summer college courses
Leadership: Captain of the Girls’ Varsity Team, Captain Forensics Team, Manager of Boys’ Tennis Team
ECs: Varsity Tennis, Poms, Forensics
Volunteer: 165 hrs

I think you have a chance. My son is a sophomore at Fairfield. He had a 3.7 gpa uw and 31 ACT (32 superscored) and he was not offered honors program. I do know students with your stats that were offered honors program but they have gotten more competitive the past 2 years. FYI if you don’t make it you can apply freshman year if you have a 3.5 gpa.

Very good chance at merit scholarship. Highest they give is $25,000/yr.
