Hi everyone, new guy here in need of some advice for my somewhat interesting dilemma. Alright, I am a freshman at Wake Tech in Raleigh, NC with much interest in engineering. Right now, since I have not yet taken Calculus 2 my only options at NC State is Business school, which I have been accepted to. The problem is I would only be going to State just be going since I could careless about Business, but could get started in the social scene of NCSU. On the other hand I have also been accepted to the much less prestigious Appalachian State's Pre-Engineering program. At app i would basically load up on the calcs and physics for a year and enjoy all the extra curriculars. Basically I'm trying to decide where to be for my sophmore year because in the end I plan on graduating with a mech. eng. degree form NCSU. So any input would be much appreciated and thanks in advance.

You should go to NCSU next year, and then take Calc 2 and start your engineering degree... If at all possible don't transfer twice.

Right on. Thanks. Can anyone else spare their $1/50?
