My daughter just got in for architecture.

Holy cow Zita00 that’s AMAZING!!! I don’t have to tell you that Cal Poly Pomona Architecture is one of the most elite programs in the country. Acceptance rate is like 7%. We look in awe at the architecture graduates when they drive up in their Porsche and Bentleys a year after they graduate. To give you an idea, these are all studios started by Cal Poly Pomona former alumni and faculty:

civil engineering… still waiting.

Chem Engr , though i bumped this school to second choice after admission abruptly canceled my app for late app free payment , which my bank traced to their account in oct 2009. the pple were nice and worked with me to reinstate my app. maybe this was a sign ?

Computer science

Electrical Engineering transfer from a CCC. CPP is my first choice, and although I think I’ll get in, the news lately on the increase in applications and decrease in number of acceptances has me a little worried. I have a 3.5 gpa, but I am missing one physics class so I hope that doesn’t affect my chances.

Architecture!

I REALLY hope to get in, but I heard that Pomona is very selective for Arch. :[

Aerospace Engineering as a Freshman.

CalPolyEngineer, do you by any chance know the requirements for the program, and what the statistics are on the engineering majors? Just wondering.

Industrial Engineering

Business admin- computer information systems, as a transfer from a bay area jc.

I’m applying for Mechanical Engineering Masters. I attended UCLA for my BSME and graduated with a GPA of 3.0. I am planning to take the GRE soon although I don’t think it’s required for Poly Pomona.
