<p>Hi! I want to apply to UT College of Liberal Arts for Fall 2010 from an in state community college</p>

<p>Major: Government (I'm not sure yet. I'm considering International Relations or Anthropology)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.5+ (I'm taking a mini-mester class, and it should go up, but not by much), 45 hours</p>

<p>ECs:
I'm in Phi Theta Kappa, also an officer. Most of my volunteer hours are with PTK...
I compete with a nationally ranked speech and debate team. (I actually compete against some UT people...)
Job Experience: I work as an assistant to a small business owner</p>

<p>I’ve been talking to other people that have transferred in from HCC where I am with 3.3’s and up.</p>

<p>Just make sure you get some letters of recommendation from a GOVT prof (if that’s what you put down as your major) and a few more.</p>
