<p>@jack2011: I remember reading it on this pdf file on their website. I’ll post it up when I find it again but the file may have been for last year’s students. Also I emailed them and they gave me that same link that surfbuff posted. So there may be a possibility that they are releasing decisions in March.</p>
<p>@ jack2011: I found the file (since I downloaded it) and it was name admissions.pdf… I’m not sure where I found it on the website but this is what it wrote:</p>
<p>“Regular Decision
This is the plan used by the vast majority of applicants. The student will:
• submit the admissions application by November 30th,
• be notified of the admissions decision in mid February,
• reply to an offer of admission by May 1st, if you choose to accept the offer.”</p>

<p>i found it. i just copied the quote. hmm…mid february started yesterday…but i saw on the bottom of the page it was a 1999-2000 Cal Poly catalog so it probably doesn’t count towards us. i looked up the 2009-2011 Cal Poly catalog and under freshmen and transfers it says,</p>
<p>“Please note: Applicants will receive notifications by April 1st and admitted applicants must accept or decline Cal Poly’s offer of admission by May 1st” BOO!</p>
<p>But we can start applying for housing on March 3rd so why would they not tell us until after that deadline?</p>

<p>@ KristinInCursive, thats a good point. they should notify us ASAP so we have a little bit of time to decide whether we want to apply for on campus housing or not by March 3rd. they should, but i don’t know if they will.</p>
<p>in my opinion, you guys will hear back within the next week or two. Why on earth would they open up housing on March 3rd if you guys haven’t been accepted. Last year I was accepted pretty early February and given about two weeks time to decide to attend Cal Poly before the housing application opened up around Feb 21-22ish.</p>
<p>So perhaps this year, everything was just pushed back two weeks, and you should now be hearing from slo soon.</p>
<p>We can keep speculating but it won’t force them to post it sooner. The anticipation is the best part anyway, in my opinion. I kind of enjoy the feeling.</p>
<p>Admissions are coming. My DD just found out on her portal this afternoon she was accepted into the music major. She had auditions Feb. 6 and was told they were meeting today for final decisions after reviewing the audition results. We never would have thought she would hear the same day! She is very excited!</p>
<p>Uh ohhhhh… Anticipation is building.</p>
<p>thats good news but i kinda wish we heard from someone that didn’t hold an audition…i don’t know it just seems like it makes a big difference</p>

<p>I guess maybe they’re releasing auditions first… or possibly by majors? Who knows… It’d be cool if they start releasing this week or by next week.</p>

<p>Yes usually it’s by major. On the other thread a girl who is a nutrition major found out she was accepted today. Liberal arts was last last year I believe.</p>
