It all depends. Usually people with very strong stats hear back quicker. The lower the stats, probably the longer the wait. They could defer you, also. So they would tell you that, then you send in semester grades, or retake ACT, and then wait for their decision again. Depends when you send your things, too.

I sent everything in like the second week of July, and
I’ve heard nothing back from them. Is that a bad thing? Or am I worrying too much?

They don’t start looking at applications until semptember. And my counsler would not allow be to apply before august 15 because they can’t legally look at it. But your application will be there, and has been there early, so you’ll probably find out fairly soon. I’d say maybe october?

Thank you so much. I feel better now. I’ll let you know what happens. :)

I cant even get my transcripts until tommorow to send

That’s okay, that’s still considered very early! I’m lucky if I can get mine this week, and many people can’t get them until September. Everyone just needs to remember that even applying late September, early october is still early:)

For those of you who have already sent the applications in, how many days did you need to wait until the website allowed you to check your status (by creating a PID/NID account)?

Is October too late to apply? I’m waiting to take the SAT my second time on October 1st the results will probably come around October 20-25th. I’m planning on sending my application then. Or if it is too late I could apply with an 1840 SAT. Someone told me that Fall 2012 is already filled up! Is there any truth to this??

It’s definitely not filled up, UCF doesn’t even review any applications until September and it is only the 3rd… So definitely not possible don’t worry lol. And your SAT score is strong so I don’t think it will make a difference if you apply in October. Oct is not late at all, anything before November is still considered early. Relax! Good luck!!
