Is there a specific website where the professors post their syllabi so we can view them prior to the start of the semester?

It depends on the class and college. The best thing to do to see if they are publicly displayed is to search the class number and professor name both on the UF website and Google.

I’ve had good luck in the past googling something like “ABC 1234 Doe UF fall 2012”. If that doesn’t yield any results, drop the semester info, you might be able to see last semester’s syllabus. It won’t be the same as this semester’s, but it will give you and idea of what you are in for at least as far as policies and work load are concerned.

Yes, I meant to say that Googling will almost always give you a previous semester’s syllabus. The current ones usually aren’t available until right before classes start. Usuallyyou have to wait until the classes are in your Elearning to see the syllabus.

Yeah, by logging on to sakai (e-learning) two weeks or so before class starts, you should be able to pull them up. :)

^agree with the previous post! Although, my classes appeared a week before they started. I guess it depends on professor.
