Just received my acceptance email today! Just a place to conjugate and share stats, advice, news, etc.
CONGRATS TO ALL THE ADMITS.

I was accepted also 33 act, 4.0. Waiting to see if I get any scholarship money and into honors program.

Accepted in-state with 2250 SAT, 4.0 GPA, and waiting on honors as well.

Sent from my SPH-D700 using CC

Got my scholarship letter today and got a nice amount to attend but did not get into honors program. Bummer. Just waiting to see what Mizzou and Arkansas say now before I make my decision. Good luck to all.

I was never worried about getting in, but the honors program has been a pain.

Admitted as an in-state student student with 30 ACT,4.0 gpa. Also got in to their Honors Program and got a nice chunk of scholarship money, but I still need a lot more. The college I got into is the first and last one im applying to, as it was my first choice.

Just got my honors program acceptance letter in the mail. I probably won’t end up here, but it’s still nice to get.

Just got accepted!

I got accepted out of state from CA with 4.3 gpa and 2040 sat. Scholarship

Accepted in September with a 1650 SAT and a 3.6 gpa. I’m out of state, in PA and KU is my second choice.

Congrats all! I’d recommend you take the Honors Program acceptances pretty seriously, because the Honors Program (IMO) gives its students the same opportunities that a top-tier university would have. If the KU Honors Program was a separate school, it would definitely be up there with Ivies - compare the #s of Rhodes, Goldwater, & other national scholarship recipients & student:faculty ratios of honors classes. Anyways, good luck with your college acceptances & rock chalk!

hi i was accepted via email today, im from california. The total amount to pay is quite alot for me, im getting a private scholarship, but that probably will cover maybe the meal plan, plus books. so my question is how much will i maybe get from the fafsa and from the university. I dont have a 33 or 4.0 like some others, but i have a 3.2 and 1680 sat

Hi ebruin. I’m using affordability.ku.edu/cs to check out your scholarship potential. It looks like your GPA is a little low, so KU won’t be offering you any automatic scholarships. KU only looks at CR + Math SAT scores, or overall ACT. Only the Midwest Student Exchange scholarship is offered to students with GPAs of 3.25 and above. You might be eligible for money from your FAFSA, but those will likely be loan-based and don’t depend on what school you are attending. You might want to check the financial aid forums to estimate your FAFSA results & how much you’ll be eligible for from there.

i got accepted on a conditional acceptance. im from california. the school seems really cool, but honestly is it worth being treated like a criminal to go here? i’m so confused.

criminals?huh?

Accepted with a 1950 SAT (590 CR & 740 M), 110 TOEFL (iBT) and 4.00 (UW) GPA. I am an international competing for the IIE Scholarships. Nice to get to talk to a bunch of prospective students. :)

Bump! Anybody there?
