ugh i still have an incomplete yellow or orange triangle…please turn into a green checkmark ;__;

Accepted February 5th.

same here still “have an incomplete” yellow trangle

I called admission office they said wait for middle of April .
wow sooo slow…

mid April!!! that’s torturous!

@skalavera congrats! If you don’t mind sharing…did you apply as a freshman for fall or a transfer? What is your major?

Anyone got rejected yet? I’m so worried…

I just got rejected from UCR
Here’s a Haiku
Dammit Cal Poly
Just Damn Accept Me Right Now
Come On Cal Poly

It’s okay, @jijggypoo. I got rejected from UCR earlier which is weird because UCR is supposed to be a reach school for almost everyone @@. Wish the best for you

Just out of curiosity what happens if you are rejected? it shows what? not a green checkmark/incomplete triangle…

A red X or just complete, which is from experience

How is UCR supposed to be a reach school for everyone? I figure that most of the student body here could get into that college as well, but maybe I’m too old and things have changed. I’m graduating in June. When I was applying…everyone got into UCR. I don’t know anyone that didn’t. If somehow you didn’t get in, you’d be automatically referred to UC Merced through “Count Me In” or “Dont count me out” or something…UCSC is really easy to get into as well. UC Davis too, but I applied as a transfer, not freshman. UCSD wasn’t that bad to get into until after 2010 or so.

Anyways, good luck you guys. It’s been a good time here at Cal Poly Pomona. I enjoyed my orientation and the education I’ve gotten over the past couple of years. I hope you all do as well if you get in. If you’re a STEM major, it can get pretty rough.

I saw someone on instagram post a letter of rejection once…but other than that, I don’t know exactly what happens when you’re rejected.

Got into pomona since december aerospace engineer undergrad ^:)^ most likely going to attend this fall 2014 ACT composite : 24

hispanic kid from LA county

Maybe I got my wording wrong. Point being, at least people who got into CPP should also get into UCR. In the UC transfer section, a few handful of people with good stats got rejected from UCR too. Maybe they’re finally stepping it up in their admissions process. Welp, doesn’t matter if CPP is your first choice.

Congrats @caldud on getting to that finish line!

@xxcapital In regards to your post about the red X (which I can understand) and the word complete (do you mean the green circle also)? I had a feeling that when it says “complete” and a green circle shows up it meant a denial. Is that what you’re saying? I wish CPP was more clear on all their definitions. I’m assuming you know this from applying previously? Did you get accepted and to what major this time around? Thanks for all the information.

^ green circle does not always mean denial. But if it’s there too long until maybe may, then it’s most likely a denial. I got admitted and it went from a check to complete. But the admissions status says provisional admit. So it really depends on the situation. Don’t jump on the gun too early

@xxcapital That sounds about right. My son is still on incomplete so I know we still have lots of hope. I was just curious if it changed to complete what that would show. We’re keeping our fingers crossed. We’ve heard and seen of business/sociology/undeclared/psychology/history/math being accepted this week and still holding out for engineering. It’s been a while since we’ve heard of acceptances in any engineering. Thanks again for all the info.

Waiting for Engr. also

well i got rejected to UCM also…so looks like no chance for CPP

I hope I hear back from them at least the first week of April since the deposits for dorms for other schools open the 1st of April.
