Do the decisions come out on UCSB portal or by email? I didn’t get an email and when I tried to log onto y UCSB portal it says invalid…

@bigdreams01 Likely you would eventually get something by email and or letter, but portal is how my sons found out. One of them also had an ‘invalid pin’ when it had worked a week ago (or he was nervous and messed up, who knows?). He had to call and get it reset because when he tried to reset it it said his Permanent Number was invalid… He was a half an hour late to golf practice because of it, but the result, for him, made his day!

Good luck!

For me It says my academic update was received on March 18th. Does anyone else see this as well? Do you think this is going to make me wait even longer for a decision?

Unofficial financial aid award eligibility is now available through the portal.

Nothing posted there for our son.

I seriously am super happy and shocked that I got accepted to UCSB. I have and SAT score of 1860, a GPA of 3.65 out of 4.0, NO EXTRACURRICULARS (I just left that entire page empty on the UC App), NO AP CLASSES during my Soph-Junior years. I have no idea how I got accepted. Yet my friend who took some APs, has some sports and extracurriculars, a slightly higher SAT and GPA did not get accepted into the same major.
