<p>For those of you who applied to SJSU, we should be hearing from them by February 21st!</p>
<p>For me, SJSU is my first choice and this wait in antagonizing me, it keeps me up at night. </p>
<p>I am going in as a Computer Science major, (or software engineering). I am on the fence of the admission boards so it could go either way for me!
What major are you going into? Do you think you will get accepted?</p>
<p>So, software engineering is your minor major?</p>
<p>It is my alternative major. It is basically the same thing as computer science but more requirements in communication skills. Computer science = individual work, software engineering = group collaboration. </p>
<p>SJSU says that it does not consider alternative majors in admission.</p>

<p>@ucbalumnus actually CS and SE are the only two they consider. Since they are almost identical. I know freinds who got placed into SE, applying only to CS</p>
