@uvahopeful101 I would email the dean right away (make an appointment) and drive down there. I did that twice before I applied. I think it helped.

@wahoopls I hope they do make the second wave today or tomorrow, but I think next thursday/friday is more likely.
@uvahopeful101 I hope they don’t do it next week because 1) the wait is killing me and 2) by next week it’ll already be the end of June and they said that they want everything done by that time.
Anyone who didn’t get off the waitlist last week, hear anything today? I’m starting to lose hope. If I don’t get off the waitlsit, I’ll apply again for spring semester and then for fall 2016, but I was hoping I would be a hoo this fall 
@uvahopeful101 I feel th the exact same way. I decided to leave no matter what my transfer decision was. UVa is really my last hope and I’m trying to figure out ways to make myself stand out. What exactly did you tell the dean? @McIntireguy123

I called the other day - I think Thursday - to see if there was any status update and woman confirmed that if you were on the wait list you were still on the wait list and “they” hadn’t told her when the wait list would be closed. Her off hand reference was maybe in July but it by no means sounded like an official statement. According to the blog from 2014, the list last year closed on Monday, June 30. My complete guess is maybe they are waiting on final responses from the original group who were offered from the wait list call and there could be a few more spaces based on that . . . Just guessing.
The transfer blog has been updated and it appears as though the waitlist will be closing in the coming days. Good luck to all of those still holding out!
