Transferring for Mechanical engineering, status changed to “Provisional Admit” a few hours ago.

Incoming freshman computer science major. Status finally changed from Ready for Decision to Provisional Admit last night. Hated waiting so long but happy with the outcome. Good luck to all.
My status is still at “Ready for Decision” too but I heard that they are sending out decisions throughout the entire month

@zepolval Wow, I guess this shows how easy CPP is to get into if you live in the area. (No offense)
It honestly depends on the major more than anything else. I have a 3.4 and got into computer science, but my friend has a 2.8 and he got rejected. We both live within 10 miles of CPP
@jkleve what was your sat and his sat?
I got accepted and they still haven’t requested my transcript. I’m a transfer. I have registered for the orientation already. Does anybody have the same issue as me? Thanks!

@nobelcollegekid I should have clarified. We are both transfer students, I never took the ACT or SAT exams and I am unsure of whether my friend did or not.

I live less than 20 miles from the school, so I guess haha. I think my major was holding me back from getting my acceptance earlier though
