Fall 2017 Applied/Accepted Thread!

@jesse’sgirl: All colleges accept applicants as provisional meaning, the accepted applicant must maintain their current GPA (fairly flexible), pass all the a-g courses Senior year with a C or higher and submit final transcripts before the deadline to maintain their admission.

Man the acceptances are so slow this year…

@Gumbymom Thank you.

@icurryx3 Maybe it just feels slow because we’re anxiously waiting. :slight_smile:

I’m not local but I do live like 30mins away.
Also I sent in my scores/application the day before they were due even though I had them done by October.
My scores are pretty low imo, so everyone hold up because I’m sure you’ll get accepted!!!
This is my top school so I’m accepting my admission asap.

I’m still at “ready for decision”. :confused: My intended major is architecture.

@monserox Omg same… I’m literally worried because I have a 3.79 gpa and 28 ACT so I thought I was fine :confused:

End of February, still at “ready for decision”… should I be worried?

@marshmallow24 That’s for a lot of people I think. Honestly, I’m pretty disappointed. They’re lagging a lot this year. They should release stuff soon. Mine is the same too

Some other girl in my school also applied with architecture as her major. She’s #1 in my graduating class, so I would be surprised if she still hasn’t heard back. @icurryx3

I’m with the rest of you waiting for a reply, I’m thinking of calling the admissions office tomorrow to check up on their progress…

@monserox Just goes to show CPP’s dedication to freshmen applicants…

it’s insanely frustrating having to wait…do you think they’ve received too many applicants or are slacking in efficiency?

Transfer applicant. Still haven’t processed my last transcript which was sent the first week of January. Called and they said it will be done soon.
So yeah pretty slow.
Should i call again or wait it out?

@marshmallow24 I think they’re really slacking. Last year, they started releasing feb 1-3 or even jan 30. Decisions came out though February. And even with a higher amount of apps, it really shouldn’t be this bad. They only released decisions once for top applicants. And how hard is just looking at our eligibility index & grades and stuff? It’s not like they’re reading essays, which is another problem…

My D got accepted last Friday for architecture. I don’t know her exact EI but her ACT is 33.
