Long story, short I am considering applying for UW-Madison in the hopes that I will be able to transfer in the Fall of 2017. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice with regards to improving my chances at this stage of the game? Would it be smart for me to apply before the looming Spring Transfer deadline with the intention of deferring my enrollment a semester? If I am denied for Spring transfer, can I still reapply for Fall transfer?
Also, does being a Minnesota resident qualify me as a Wisconsin resident in the eyes of college admissions? Thanks in advance, any advice is much appreciated.
