I actually wanted to ask people here cuz maybe someone might be informed. For math, How would UCI compare to UCSB’s College of creative studies? Any insight would help :3

@shch7898 CS applicant with a 3.28 but denied at sdsu, slo, pomona, fullerton, and sjsu. Sjsu said non accomodated so to my understanding they pulled my app without even looking. Pomona said denied, csu eligible, not redirected. And the rest were rejections. :3 gpa is probably the main reason. Also maybe that im taking speech right now in spring? Idk xD good thing UCSB said i can drop speech without affecting my offer of admission and all the other UCs said that for speech, if im still eligible for UC withoit it, getting a W wont affect my admission decision. And since a UC tolde that im cool without it, im in one less class this semester. Atleast all the csus are done! Pomona and Fullerton didnt get back to me until mid april. Like uuuuuh ok? Ucsc admitted me for any “non impacted major” but why would i even do that? Like Jewish Studies here i come!!! No offense if thats anyones ACTUAL major xD. More stuff than you asked for but ive been meaning to post about this for a while.

Did anyone who got the weird letter a few weeks back hear back yet?
After I got the “weird” letter, I called them and they said they had accidentally sent out letters and to just ignore them and wait for our actual responses through the portal. So that letter basically doesn’t mean anything. I’m still waiting to see if I get accepted through the portal though.

@Somedudeonline13 Just no new messages the portal changes to have a big congratulations message or a message denying you or waitlisting you. As long as it hasnt changed you’re pending. I am praying they still have acceptances left to give out.
Hi, I have a question.
I am transferring this fall for Business Administration major. I haven’t heard back from UCI until today.
My problem is I drop calc II. Is it possible for me to get accepted?
