Huh, I think they haven’t updated the first year seminars yet.

And I’m going to have so much trouble picking just 4 classes…

Correct. The FYS usually are announced in June sometime. And you are right about narrowing it down to four!

Thanks for posting this. It’s quite impressive!

Is four the recommended or the maximum number a student (or freshman) is allowed to take? Just wondering cos i plan to double major (or is it a double degree if it’s engineering and econs? that would make it a bachelor of science + bachelor of arts, right?) but am still very keen to take other classes outside my major.

Of course, this is me being greedy.

Thanks!

Oops, double posted. Apologies

^^^ 16 credit hours is typical.

4 academic classes, or 16 credits, is recommended for your first semester. Some people take 17 or 18 (one class, especially if it’s an intensive foreign language class, might count for 5, or you might want to take a 1 credit exercise class or 2 credit dance class), but I would strongly recommend not taking more than that your first semester.

All rights. Got it, thanks! :)

English Department has released its First Year Seminar offerings as well as more detail on their other courses.

Thanks so much for posting, Bossf51. Fabulous to look through, and very exciting.

Thanks, Everybody, for letting us know the normal course load, too.
