Fall grades count?

<p>Do your fall grades count towards your gpa when you you are applying or is everything up until the fall semester? I would be applying in the Fall. For example if you had a 3.2 going into the fall but end the fall with a 3.6 would they take the 3.2 or 3.6? This is for UC's and CSU's</p>

<p>You typically apply before the end of the fall semester, and then send an updated transcript after fall grades are posted. So yes, they generally do consider the fall grades. </p>

<p>If you’re applying for the spring semester, then the decisions will typically come out before the end of the fall semester, so they won’t be considered. You’ll still need to send them an updated transcript after the end of the fall semester though. </p>

<p>Specific policies will vary from school to school, but that’s the most general scenario. </p>
