Where does one look to find full time fall or winter internships in finance/accounting?
There seem to be endless of internships in the summer but not so much for the fall or winter. Thanks!

I am also interested in a Sept-Dec (Fall term) internship but am unsure about where to start. Are there many of these about? How should I go about it?

Start with your campus career center. See if your school has an online database. Check the multitude of internship website/databases on the internet. Use google. Contact the specific firms that your interested in working at for more information.

Some ideas to get you started

^Yes. Your campus (if you are an undergraduate) should have some type of office full of resources. You can always utilize the local university’s office even if you aren’t (website). Otherwise, there are a lot of resources available for free online.

new-student - If you are looking for accounting internships, the spring semester is actually a great time for internships. Jan - April is busy season for CPA/Accounting firms. More than likely you will need to be a junior, however, for firms to even consider you.

Thanks for the replies.

Thetaxdad- I will be a junior; however, I am an economics major (at a top school) and I will have only completed financial and managerial accounting by the spring semester. I’m considering getting a masters of accountancy. Do you think that I would be able to get an accounting internship with only those two intro courses under my belt?
