My family income was 41 K. I am wondering if all you Princeton ED'ers are in the 200K range or something. Im sure I will get tons of financial aid if I get accepted.

I believe my family earned around 42k last year. You're not the only one that is hoping for lots of financial aid =)

$200k? Haha, not me....I should get a decent amount, too. Luckily Princeton doesn't ask for home value (I guess they think asking a family to mortgage the house is a little steep).....because our house has been my parents' main investment.

Somewhere over $200k, but my parents own their own practice so it fluctuates from year to year - currently, as people have less dispensable income, my parents are making less than they have in the past.

I need financial aid too, but I doubt I'll be getting any! Although the boy across the street ended up paying only about $25,000 a year, I think, so maybe there's still hope - I'm not sure how comparable their income is to my family's. Le sigh, I'd be happy just to be at Princeton..... you guys deserve aid more than I do. :)

Im really poor compared to you guyz.

Famiy income only around 23 K

when my dad wasn't retired he made 500k...

Your dad retired already?

"retired" kind of a forced retirement haha, but that's what i wrote on my apps. it was kind of pressured.his work was so competitive that they start trying to get rid of guys in their 50's (he was 53). he doesn't need to work though he saved so conscientiously

42k will probably get you near full aid.

awesome--if what mzhang23 says is true. My family made 50K last year and around 40 K this year

im in the $80k range
middle class...poor enough to not pay full tuition but rich enough to not get decent aid
thats life...it happens

income by itself doesn't say anything...

it usually is a fair indication of how much financial aid you can get

and dont kid yourself...how do you think harvard got to an $8 billion dollar endowment?
