FAQs International Students

HEY PPL
I had these 2 doubts regarding Illinois Admissions
1) still havent received my official letter of acceptance. So does that mean I am not in??

2)Is the fee for international students the same as that of an out of state student? Although on the website they have been quoted differently, the other day on the online chat, one of the counsellors said it is the same. So could some1 plz clarify this?

THANX!

If you are shown as admitted in the on-line file, your in and you can blame slow mail.

Not sure what you mean by "fee." There is "tuition" (the greatest amount) and then there are some "fees" in addition to that. The tutiton for an international is the same as an out-of-state student. The additional fees are the same for everyone.

By "on-line" file, do you mean the same URL that we checked our applications status?

^Ya. I'm international too even though I'm in california. The fee should be the same as out of state.

I say call them just in case to ask about your official acceptance package.

the expenses of international students will be much higher than OOS I'm afraid. See their website.

Yes, your on-line file is the same one that was set up when you applied and for which you checked application and admission status. Note, if you still have not received anything, I think it is time to call because yours may have been lost in the mail.
