^^Hm… your logic doesn’t make sense. To follow the trend is to do as they do. I can honestly say that I do not do as they do. So you are wrong. So in other words, your logic says that if I asked someone what they thought the best college was, I would already be following the trend towards the Ivies or “top” schools.

“Zapz, if you do that i SWEAR i will be your best friend, forever.”

Okay =) It will take a few weeks to grow the beard, though.

Well, I assumed you’d be following these outside opinions, which would still mean you’re aiming for what is trendy. On CC it’s trendy to have an aversion to A&F etc., so if you accept this aversion without personal thought (as evidenced by you asking for opinions), you change and follow the trends.

Countered.

Oh, and South Pole shirts kind of bother me.

Did I ever mention that I would be following the input or changing to that style? No, I simply wanted opinions to see what people liked. Did I say that I needed help with my own style of clothes? No. I never said that the people on here influenced me in any way. Does this mean now that I am going to go out and buy whatever someone says that I should wear on here? No. Sorry, but you shouldn’t assume.

Countered.

AeroEngineer3141… you’re my hero, ■■■■■.
wearing an a&f shirt to paint a deck, hahahahhahahaha.

I have to buy an a&f shirt now, because i’m painting the deck next weekend lol

I kind of (really) like sex hair on guys, when it’s done right.

And Zaps, let me know when you’ve completed the look!

One reason I do like A&F, Hollister, Aero, AE, etc. is that their button downs are fitted. Most button downs you find from classic places like Polo, JCrew, etc. are cut long and are fairly wide, so they have a tendency to poof out when you tuck them in, and they look a bit sloppy with you don’t.

What do you guys think of the whole jerk movement thing with the black guys wearing the bright colored skinny jeans and the dance and everything? I think it works for some people but on a lot of people it doesn’t.

^eh, it’s okay. at least the clothes are fitted :|

I’m personally a fan of solid or striped polos and khaki shorts, with Nike tennis shoes, those things are so comfortable and they look fresh.

chenman - yeah their button down shirts are actually really nice and fitted on guys and girls.

H&M and Banana Republic also have slim-fir shirts for the not-so-squareish shaped people (:

H&M is pretty godly, except its 40 minutes away. I got an amazing deal on a perfect fitting suit (where else can you find a slim fit suit for under 100 bucks) there, and they also have very well fitted button downs (not very high quality though). Decent jeans, some nice sweaters when they are actually available, and sometimes some good coats.

Some of it is too trendy though.

Whoever mentioned sagging the jeans like an inch below the boxer line, well I do that. Just enough so you can read the Hanes label.

Yeah, I’m sexy.

^Wow. Amazing.

Ah I completely agree with the H&M comment. Their button downs for girls fit amazing. It was the only place for I got find a clean white button down shirt that would corset my waist perfectly. And I’m really really slim. But yea, the quality isn’t too great.

But other than that, H&M is a pretty amazing store. It’s quite affordable and looks less trashy than Forever 21.

Don’t hate. I know you’re dreaming about me.

Of course.

Calvin Klein boxer briefs for me…I dont even know why.

They’re building an H&M here and I’m so excited. They’ve made the mall more expensive and gotten rid of a lot of teen stores. I wouldn’t mind so much, but in most cases they’ve gotten rid of the good ones and kept the ones that have become really weird & trashy (Forever 21) or the ones I never shopped at (Hollister, Abercrombie, that sort of thing). But we still have stuff like Fossil, and I’m sort of not into to buying disposable clothing anymore and prefer to shop at more high quality places.
I’ll still spend a bit on trendy things at H&M though.

I think American Apparel has a cute style too, but it’s ridiculously overpriced, and in recent years…overrated.

I like H&M’s summer dresses. They’re ridiculously cute.
