My style is everywhere. I own a good bit of graphic tees but I love plain t-shirts, button-downs, and polos. I own like 4 pairs of skinny pants but I also have really baggy pants that I love wearing. I love shorts that go over my knee; one for the look, two for the shock factor. LOL They’re not really short, just 2 inches from my knees.

^ Hahaha yeaahh, same. Many people don’t know what stereotype to put me in, I don’t particularily fit just one.

I’m not really a fan of graphic tees. I usually wear neutral colored plain t-shirts with some skinny jeans or shorts in the summer. But then I mix it up too: band tees, nice blouses, tanktops, and what not.

But I go to private school so … plaid skirts and a button down/polo.

I like that people can’t put me into a stereotype either. I don’t want to be “preppy” or “scene” or “simplistic”, I want to be me. Besides, it’s so fun when you get to switch up your clothes.

Guys don’t ever wear Ed Hardy or Affliction you automatically look like a complete d-bag

There needs to be a consolidated list!

I know this has already been said, but guys, please, for the love of God, pull your pants up!
No one wants to see your Spongebob Squarepants boxers or whatever you have on that day. It’s called a belt.

^Agreed! There are some guys at my school who wear their pants down to their knees:/

Girls - Don’t wear leggings with a SHIRT, wear them with either a dress, or a long sweater/shirt type thing. The whole North Face w/ leggings thing really ****es me off.

Guys - you gotta dress like this, no exceptions, ever.
http://gallery.photo.net/photo/6599131-lg.jpg

Guys- Wear slim fit pants, but not tight pants. Sag them like an inch and a half below your boxers.

Girls- long knit sweaters are not attractive. Skirts are unattractive unless short, and therefore you should stick to skinny jeans.

"Guys - you gotta dress like this, no exceptions, ever.
http://gallery.photo.net/photo/6599131-lg.jpg"

Awesome. I will need to go by some clothes.

Zapz, if you do that i SWEAR i will be your best friend, forever.

Can someone make me, as a guy, a consolidated list. What do the girls out there like?

^ We don’t like baggy clothes. Like “gangster” baggy. Wear clothes that fit you. Generally no skinny jeans. Personally, I like both preppy guys and badass guys, haha. By badass, I mean like, black leather jacket, sunglasses, messy black hair, ect, hahahhaah. :)

But be yourself when you pick your clothes. I wouldn’t buy something that you don’t like but you know girls do. Remember, YOU’RE wearing the clothes, not us.

What’s your definition of preppy? Because I’m not sure anymore since there was a whole thread on it.

My definition is like lacoste, ralph lauren, ll bean, you get the idea. I don’t consider a&f preppy. ALSO, preppy clothing is GOOD quality. have you ever bought a shirt from abercrombie? the colour fades out in like 2 washes it stretches out like craaazzzy.

Don’t follow the trends because you want to be part of the crowd.

Haha, I’m not going to change to “follow the trends”.

^ Pshh, by asking for outside opinions, you already have. You sheep.

As a side note, you should probably never wear A&F, Abercrombie, or the like unless you’re doing something that doesn’t require you to look good. Like, when I repainted our deck, I wore an A&F shirt with basketball shorts =D.

Oh, and not wearing the aforementioned also counts as a trend. So I’d have to say you’re trapped.
