Well too bad Rollins didn’t give me enough aid! Haha.

Vassar was beautiful.

Well too bad Rollins didn’t give me enough aid! Haha.

Vassar was beautiful.

I personally thought Wake Forest was dull looking. Duke is great with the Gothic/ Hogwarts look and the forests surrounding the campus insulated it from the dreary city of Durham.

Scripps College remains the most aesthetically attractive of the 20+ colleges I’ve visited.

^ Scripps and Pomona are my favorites. I also liked Cornell and Duke

How can you beat this:

I never grow tired of the aesthetic of UC Berkeley. It is gorgeous and has a sweet little creek running through it, too.

Northwestern
UChic
Duke
Wake Forest

Kenyon College
Rhodes College
Washington University in St. Louis
Loyola Marymount University
Claremont McKenna College
Lewis and Clark College

Washington University in St. Louis. Definitely.

Princeton and Stanford are my picks, although the latter I subjectively do not like because of the mission architecture.

It is hard to understand why it took 30 posted messages to come up with the best looking college campus:

[Forbes.com Video Network | ForbesLife: Princeton’s Appeal](http://video.forbes.com/fvn/forbeslife/princetons-appeal)

Notre Dame!

Princeton
Dartmouth
Duke
Cornell
Lehigh
Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
UVA
WashU
Miami (OH)

Kenyon, definitely.

STILL another vote for Washington University in St. Louis
Simply gorgeous architecture and grounds.

University of British Columbia wins hands-down on beauty, IMHO

Georgetown, Duke and Colgate

“Georgetown”

Georgetown is in a great location but the campus is hardly impressive imho.

Of the ones that I’ve been to:

Wake Forest University
UNC-Chapel Hill
Duke University
Syracuse University
University of South Carolina
Elon University

Bowdoin!
Colby was pretty, but sort of cookie-cutter-ish, in the sense that all of the buildings kind of looked alike.
Carnegie Mellon and Villanova are great, as well.

I think you mean that Vancouver wins hands-down on beauty. UBC is nice, I suppose, but much of its campus is nothing to write home about, and a few of the building are just downright ugly.

Take the rose garden, for example (your second link). It has some nicely manicured bushes and some (currently dormant) roses. Heck, you have that much in the traffic circle at Duke before you even get to the main part of campus. The Japanese garden at UBC is much nicer, to be fair.

There are some colleges with breathtaking scenery around them with less than beautiful campuses. Western Carolina in NC is one, as is the College of the Atlantic. Outside the US, Swansea in Wales is another. I would add UBC to that list. Berry would also fall into this category to an extent, but it owns the land, so it gets a pass.
