favorite city...

what is your favorite major city??
i really want to go to mega size city for college and am looking for suggestion besides nyc,la, san francsico..which are my fave three...if i can avoid extreme weather, location does not matter..

Chicago

Chicago, most definitely. We don't really get major natural disasters here. Huge city (I believe it's almost twice as densely populated as LA). Pretty lake.

IMO, Boston is the best city for college students, hands down.

Chicago is nice too. I love Seattle but I don't know if I'd want to go to college there.

london, england

San Francisco.

Doesn't really answer your queston XD but that's my favorite.

LA is nice too, but talk about extreme weather..unless of course you like all-year-round summer.

Boston is the best city for colleges...

Excluding those you talked about (San Fran is my favorite) Chicago and Boston. Boston wins by a teensy tiny bit though, it is an AMAZING place to go to school.

i <3 boston

Montreal is pretty amazing

Hong Kong

A true megalopolis, and you can literally buy anything you can imagine here. From counterfe...err value Prada bags to the latest electronics, and I mean the very latest.

I <3 NYC (10 char)

^^ oops, I just read the part about wanting suggestions other than cities such as NYC...sorry.

Chicago Is Amazing.

Paris. I like what Gertrude Stein said: America is my country, but Paris is my home town.

I really liked San Diego when I was there. It's a pretty cool city. It's not too big, but it's also far from small. The weather is awesome.

San Diego is definitely by far the best place in the United States to live. AMAZING weather (around 80 all year round with NO HUMIDITY), great schools, great houses, everything.

I'm probably gonna move to San Diego when I grow up.

Boston.....

Detroit! Well, actually Ann Arbor is better, but that doesn't really matter. Toronto (where I was born) is also really nice.

I live about 20 minutes to downtown Chicago and it is a great city, but I am going to have to go with Paris. It is hands down the most amazing city in the world (that I have been to).
