Ok, we know that a lot of internationals like coming to America for a higher education. I'm curious to know what other countries do you favor going to for an education?

If possible, I would love to go to the following places for an education:
1st choice: America/Canada (although canada's universities are pretty under-funded...)
2nd choice: Sweden... check out www.studyinsweden.se :p
3rd choice: Netherlands
4th Choice: Singapore ;)

Nope, I will never go to UK, Australia and NZ simply because I feel that these universities view international students as a source of "money-making" cum "economy-boosting". It's a fact that it is easier for an international to enter Melbourne University compared to the domestic students... Whereas in the States, most colleges charge a flat fee for both international and domestic students (except for public unis I think)...

@kenyon...
Why netherlands?

UCU. Utrecht is gorgeous and I think UCU is one of the best colleges in Netherlands right? Also, because the Dutch are pretty internationalized; English is frequently spoken over there, decent tuition fees also helps.

Delft is also a pretty good Institute of Technology IMO. Maastricht is not bad too. :p

Even if the study body is 400 students... and the amount of courses are very limited in comparison with ie. kenyon??

isnt the student body 800???? But you're right, the amount of courses is very limited. But its a pretty good level and Utrecht is the best!!!!!!!!

I live there................ and i love it more than any other city in the world!!!!

my highs school is actually on the ucu campus :)

I just counted 170 different courses....
Hmm.. that's my only objection to go to UCU...
If there were more choices... I would have considered going to UCU...

One can argue that you wont take more than 28 courses to graduate... but you have to know that the social sciences department just have 40 courses.... and that's so few

Hey, UCU has a student population of 600. :p 400 dutch while the rest are international students, which makes UCU a really diverse place.

flowertje: Yep, Utrecht is a really nice city. :d
