Favorite Person of All History

Mine is Benjamin Franklin. There really are few like him, and he's a pretty complex guy (if you read The Autobiography, you know what I'm talking about).

Yours?

Edit: Title should be "Favorite Person in all of History". My bad.

Any of the unrecognized American heros who have died for our country

Lol, no offense, but we were just talking today in APUSH how Ben Franklin was big on soliciting whores…

I have many lol. My top few would be:

Henry of Navarre
Frederick the Great
William Carlos Williams
Marcel Breuer
Marcel Proust
Petrarch
John Milton

If it’s an artist in history, I’d go with Dimitri Shostakovich.

If it’s a leader in history, I’d pick Stalin or Hitler.

Good Person: Jos

Otto von Bismarck, absolute genius
and maybe James K. Polk, woo hoo!

^ Bismarck is the man.

But I have to go with George Carlin.

Lol Carlin was insane.

I’d have to go with cs12345 back before he got banned.

^^^ haha Bismarck was such an ***hole. He like illegalized Catholicism and didn’t let poor people vote, then he tried to ally with labor interests and appease the Catholics so he could invade France, Denmark, and Austria-Hungary.

He also said this: “Beat Poles until they lose faith in a sense of living. Personally, I pity the situation they’re in. However, if we want to survive -we’ve got only one option - to exterminate them.”

hey bismarck may not have been perfect, but he was arrogant and good at what he did!

I agree with Maple. Bismarck = fail.

Newton was coolio though.

I love all the scientists you included.

isn’t Petrarch more of a philosopher?

^They are almost all philosophers/writers. Hence, I was being sarcastic.

Newton all the way.

ah, i see now, sarcasm is very hard to recognize online.
Anyway, I forgot to mention Aristotle.

Franklin Roosevelt

My grandmom, my mom, my dad, and my sister. in no particular order.

@Grisam, I forgot to add Sendivogius and Blaise Pascal :b

Hopefully you are appeased and won’t have me exiled to Chances

^Thou shalt be forever executed into the dungeons known as the Parents Cafe.

Big question here: Einstein vs Newton (in my defense, I’m not nearly close enough to understand any of Einstein’s physics - I got Newtonian ideas down though).
