Hey guys! Which piano instructor at Wellesley would you recommend?

I’m not sure if you’ll get a good reply here, but I would say that during the time that you are taking the music placement test and getting ready for your classes, I would ask around on campus. During Orientation there were also events dedicated to introducing students to various departments, music being included. I would keep an open eye out during Orientation and that way you might be able to meet with a piano instructor yourself before you take lessons with them.

Agreed. Wait until your Orientation packet arrives and see when the open house for the music department is. There is always at least one day of Orientation which is set aside for first years to learn about the departments, find out what courses are available, meet professors, etc. Definitely check that out before deciding what classes to take. I am quite sure you could meet with some piano instructors then, or at the very least, be able to speak with some students in the music department who are majors/minors or have taken lessons before.

Great! Thanks for the replies!
