What is your favorite roller coaster, or do you no like them/never rode one before?

I haven't been to too many amusement parks, so I don't have a big list of roller coasters that I have rode. At Busch Gardens , here in Va, my favorite is probably Apollo's Chariot.

It's a sit down, steel roller coaster. The harness is not over your arms since it doesn't do upside down. It covers the lap, and it is very sturdy. The drop is 210 ft and it goes 73 Mph. There are many drops. There is a 2nd, a 3rd (the third is makes a turn -- fun) and it has many turns that are sideway-ish and may smaller drops.

What's y'alls favorite coasters and which park are they at?

Millenium Force at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. My best roller coaster experience ever. It was after midnight (there’s a hotel at the park so it was no big deal) and we got to the top of the high hill. I couldn’t see the ground because it was pitch black. For once second I freaked out but I pulled it together. It was great.

Cedar Point is awesome btw. Any fan of roller coasters should check it out.

X is probably the best I’ve been on. I went on at night though, so I couldn’t see anything. I didn’t even feel concussed afterward, like you always do on Viper.

Psyclone was the worst roller coaster. It was way too jarring and incredibly painful if you went on more than once.

Tatsu in Six Flags Magic Mountain. Before the ride starts, the seats turn so that you’re parallel to the track. Almost lost my camera that way…

Apollo’s Chariot in Busch Gardens is a fun one too.

I actually liked Nitro best in Six Flags Great Adventure (at night, of course)- the first drop was insane and it’s a nicely constructed rollercoaster. Turns out we picked a terrible day to go to Six Flags, I think like 3 of the major rollercoasters (Kingda Ka, Superman, and something else) were shut down for the day, so we were pretty limited.

– And a word of advice: Never go on the Great American Scream Machine - with all that head-banging, it’s so painful - unless you like enjoy riding concussion-inducing rides. :/

Ahh lol, Nitro at night is the best! The lift hill looks kind of like an aircraft runway when it’s lit up lol. El Toro is also generally awesome, but you can get really bad whiplash from certain rows.

Ha, I actually just got back from Cedar Point! It’s the best park in the world! Millenium, Maverick and Top Thrill are the best! I’ve ridden each like at least 5 times throughout my life, Millenium, probably like 8. Whoever said Iron Dragon must be joking, that’s a kiddie ride!

Here’s a little background about CP:
It currently holds the world record for most roller coasters (17), one of which, Top Thrill Dragster, is the world’s second tallest and second fastest roller coaster[1], reaching speeds of 120 mph (190 km/h)–used to be the tallest-- and a height of 420 feet (130 m). Cedar Point is also the only amusement park with four roller coasters that are taller than 200 feet (61 m). As of 2008[update], Cedar Point has more rides (75) than any other amusement park.[2]

^ Listen buddy. Iron dragon is NOT a kiddy ride. Everytime I ride it I’m convinced that the swing is going to fall in the water.

Actually, I was waiting in line for it once, and I saw this blue heron eat a fish. It was staring at the water, and when it caught one, everyone clapped :)
