Are you addicted to roller coasters?

I love love love roller coasters. I rode mediumish ones once in a while because I really didn't have enough time for going to roller coaster parks, but last year the whole grade went to a roller coaster park and I went on my first big roller coaster. Now I think about roller coasters and high thrill rides all the time. What about you guys?

I used to be terrified of them.

Then when I was 17 I tried one and it changed my life.

Now I love them. Too bad I don’t have enough opportunities to ride them to call myself addicted. :-(

What an interesting subject you chose.

And no, I’m not a big fan of roller coasters.
This reminds me of when I went to Disney awhile back. There were a few rides here and there for younger children and I remember whenever we rode one with our mom, she would get really scared and start freaking out but there were little kids around us who were so calm and even sat in their parent’s lap. Good times :p

Nope. I’m not an adrenaline junkie

I used to be terrified of them. I got peer pressured onto one during a field trip to Disney freshman year, now I’m neutral about it.

Here I go, spamming HSL…
I love roller coasters, every chance I have I will go on the biggest and baddest one at the amusement park in question. Lucky for me, in about one week, I’m off to Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I like roller coasters, just not the lines.

I love roller coasters! I’m all reluctant to get on the biggest ones at first (I actually threatened the life of my best friend on the lift hill of a particularly large coaster, because she convinced me to get on), and then I want to ride them multiple times!

Even I know it’s gonna be fine, I always feel so nervous as I sit down/buckle up but once it gets going assdfdhsjslal its so much fun and I’m laughing through the whole thing. But yeah lines aren’t fun.

Loops, drops, or corkscrews, which do you like best? I like drops (especially the first drop).

yeah, i love rollercoasters.
loops: i don’t like them, they make my head hurt
drops: funnest part, esp. first drop
corkscrews: fun, but sometimes painful lol

I HATE them.

I went to Six Flags last month for the first time in a while and all I’ll say is…I was never so scared in my life! Entertaining but it caused me so much fear lol

The first time I went on kingda ka, it rolled back. It was hands down the sickest, most terrifying experience of my life. Now I’m not that scared of roller coasters anymore cause if I could handle that, I can handle anything haha

HELL YEAH!!! I remember riding in the first car of the Kinda Ka at Six Flags! I totally had an adrenaline rush! A great perk to living in the Philly area is that there are so many great parks! The big three around here are Six Flags, Dorney Park, and Hershey Park (I was just there yesterday). The best roller coasters are:

Six Flags:
-Kinda Ka
-El Toro
-Nitro
-Much more! (I haven’t been to the theme park in nearly six years)

Dorney Park:
-Talon
-Hydra
-Steel Force
-Hellcat

Hershey Park:
-Skurush
-Great Bear
-Lightning Race
-Fahrenheit (steepest drop in the world! You go up at a 90 degree angle and drop on a 97 degree angle!)

In my mind, I’m converting rollercoasters to drugs and it makes this thread hilarious

I went on Fahrenheit and also Sky rush last summer! They were both amazing! I went on Kraken and Manta (Seaworld) on my trip to Florida a few years ago too.

Wow, I want to ride Kingda Ka someday. Unfortunately I’m nowhere near Six Flags Great Adventure :(

No, I hate roller coasters.
