FBI Internship

If you have ever interned with the FBI before, I'd be interested in hearing about your experience. I was recently selected for an interview for the FBI Honors program and I am just wondering what to expect.

Furthermore, what should I expect from the internship in general? What do you do as an intern for the FBI? Their website says that it would depend on the specific intern's background, but what are some concrete projects that an FBI intern has worked on in previous years?

Any insight into this internship would be appreciated.

Thank you.

We had a recruiting manager from the FBI come speak at my school’s chapter for Beta Alpha Psi.

He said that interns typically work on real cases with an agent, with the exception of a few educational backgrounds.

Also, if you are in a city that is one of their top 16 offices in the country, you don’t have to go to D.C. for training. Even though that would be pretty cool.

Fun fact: He also noted that the drug test and physical weeds out nearly 50% of their employee applicants. Although interns don’t have to go through the physical test.

^^^Hair tests FTL.
