February 12th 2011 Scores

Does your school offer a test date separate from the national dates? I have two tests available to me in April - the national test on April 9th and a test that our school makes us take at the end of April. Does your school do anything similar?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET A 28 this TIME!!! I CANT WAIT!

I’m so nervoussss! I hope I get above a 30!

Has anyone ever seen their status switch from “registered” to “tested” like, say, right before the time that the results are first available? As of mid-day Sunday, my son’s still says registered, and the first batch of results are supposed to be posted tonight. Is there any point in checking back later today in the hopes that the status has changed? I’m embarrassed to admit that we’re all a bit obsessive about checking, but I’ll tell my son to just let it be if the current registered status pretty much nixes any chance of seeing his scores tonight.

I’m not 100% sure on this, but I think it’s highly unlikely that they will have your results posted tonight.

^^Yeah, that’s kind of what I figured. Thanks for replying, @BCB1993.

I was just hoping against hope that someone might say, “Oh, last time, mine didn’t change to ‘tested’ until an hour before midnight!'” A girl can dream…

so anxious, I cannot wait .____. Also, I have a question… I thought I would ask it here because I do not want to make another thread =P

BUT! Here it is: I was wondering if my scores should most likely be considerably higher, (yes, I know that scores raise). Last time I took the ACT , I went in was Oct. 23rd, 2010. Knowing these factors, should my score be significantly higher?
-I took the test as a standby, and it was last minute, like very last. Therefore, I didn’t really study, except the night before, and I didn’t get a good night’s rest.
-I took the test at an unfamiliar school, (I had never taken a Standardized test outside of my school- my school only hosts the SAT, not the ACT).
-I didn’t know that guessing was okay. The proctor rushed over the rules when we we sat down in the designated room.
-Therefore, I finished the english part, but left a few blank. I didn’t finish 1/4 of the math section (the last two columns), and I only finished 1/2 of the Science and Reading sections.
-Small thing, but: I didn’t know we had to know the formulas for math >.<

My Composite was a 19. Knowing these facts, do you think that my ACT score is/will be significantly higher than this one? (sorry for the repeat! So tired)

Ugh, I can’t wait any longer.

oh and I forgot to add… how high do you think it might be? I have heard ACT scores raise 2-4 pts, while others raise about 8… (I just want a 24, or a 23 and above. I studied/practiced on the weekends (started Jan. 22nd), and I studied everyday of the week of February 7th (this was the week of the ACT.))

: )

Where exactly on the ACT website can you check your status or view scores when they come out tomorrow?

evensongmom, I have seem some stories where people have said they had registered until midnight, but still received their scores at that time.

Larentia, login at act.org Then on the left, click “Your test dates and scores”

When you log in to your account, it will usually say “View scores” under “Your ACT Test Date” (with an actual date, so for February it will be under “Your February 2011 Test Date”).

just making sure, scores are released at midnight eastern, right?

1am EST, 12 CST.

@svoss1992
Oh, thanks!

Who’s staying up?

I am excited now that it sounds like an easy curve!

no problem!

and wait, what? Easy curve?

Idk, people have made it seem like their scores are higher than normal. Hoping for a 31/32! Also mine still says registered. Does that mean I probably won’t get them?

I’m probably not gonna stay up, I have two tests tomorrow…but I’m definitely gonna check first thing in the morning.

Also, easy curve?!

Is anyone else staying up? What is the predicted ‘easy’ curve?
