Do you need to fill out Fafsa every year in medical school to receive federal loans? My son told me that he only needs to do it once and then can get loans every year. And it just doesn’t make sense to me. You have to fill it out every year in college. So why not med school. I’d like to have some facts before I go back and talk to him about it.
Medical student need to submit FAFSA every year if they want to be eligible for federal loans.
IIRC, your son is at CCL.

Even if he just wants to rollover his current FA for next year, he still needs to file a FAFSA.

Thanks WayOutWestMom. This is exactly what I thought.
