Federal Work Study and scholarships

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I was told by my financial aid adviser at my community college that I didnt need to report my federal work study I made under $8000 dollars as it was part of my "need". I also noticed a section for scholarships on my FAFSA. (currently logged on). I'm really confused. Was I supposed to include this on my FAFSA for 2014-2015 school year? Please help!! :(</p>

<p>@WhiteTiger84‌ - Yes even if it was only $500 you need to include it because it is income and you do get an actual W2 for it.</p>

<p>If you made a total of less than $9,000 you are not required to file taxes though.</p>
