Federal Work Study @UF

So I kinda have to consider UF for my college. Which is no problem since it's a great school, but their financial aid office is not answering any of my questions, and that's the biggest determinant of attending UF. For ANYONE AT UF OR GRADUATE FROM UF, if you have federal work study and you want to earn more than the amount to be earned per semester (like work 20 hours/week and earn over the set $1.5K or w/e), are you allowed to? Or can I just find a regular PT job on campus and earn more money? Thanks! =]

you can get special waivers to work more than 20 hours a week. i only know this because of one person i know who says he did this, but he may also be a pathological liar. so take it for what its worth.

you can always get an off campus job on top of your on campus job if they don’t allow you to work as often as you’d like.
