Yay, me too!!

Hahaha, did you wait until the last possible moment to submit it on purpose or were you really working on it until then?

cheers .

DITTO that!!!

Hooray! :)

I sent mine at 11:44 AM. :P

I sent mine in around 10:30ish. is proud

Ummm, what fees?

randomdad - It's the Freshman Essay Evaluation, one of the tests taken during the summer to determine placement. (the $$$ fees come soon enough!)

Ooops, sorry.

I submitted mine Sunday night. Unfortunately, my internet broke, so I had to go to someone else's house to work on and submit them. I'll felt somewhat comfortable with the argumentative, but I thought my summary was dry and wordy, anyone else get the same vibe?

both of mine were pretty LAME. i had fun with the second one though....

Yours were lame? Mine are shot-in-the-foot painful to read.

something like 3/4 of the entering freshmen pass, so odds are with all of you.

hahaha, amrik...

im afraid that i might be the one out of the four who isn't going to pass

texas137, something like 1/4 of the entering freshman fail. I wonder who will fail first? Hint: my essays actually cause physical pain when read.

well, do the non-native English speakers take the FEE? If so, they might make up a disproportionate number of the 1/4 who fail. (not to be discouraging to any non-native English speakers who might be part of this thread).

amrik, i'm getting the vibe that everyone's are that way... I mean, afterall, they only give you three days to write them. I thought my summary was a bear to read. It was dry, a bit wordy, and often times cliched (with stuff like, in summary, overall, blah blah) I heard that if you do fail, you get to enroll in an easy writing class and it can actually be a blessing. I mean, they give you a placement test to put you in the right spot.

Does anyone know when results are up?
