Honestly, sort of embarrassed about how little I know about applying to college but.
I qualify for the free/reduced lunch program and also for SAT waivers, so I know I get college fee waivers. But someone told me that through the common app, you get unlimited waivers as long as you qualify for an SAT waiver? Is that true? And that the four waivers college board gives you could be applied to other non-common app schools? Anyone have any experience with that?
Yes, you can apply to up to 20 applications for free through common app. Also you typically qualify for a fee waiver to your state’s flagship.
Also, if you qualify for SAT fee waivers, it means you automatically qualify for subject test fee waivers ( for 2 sessions; you can take 2 tests or even 3 each time, in your strongest subjects) and 2 fee waiver for act that your GC has to request. Train for these tsrts like for a championship because scholarships often depend on those scores.
