Fee Waiver Request and Deadlines questions *TIME SENSITIVE*

Hey all, I've got a few questions that are really important and would really appreciate it if I got an answer as quickly as possible.

I know that my colleges are quite lenient about receiving the school forms a bit after the deadline as long as my application and supplement are submitted on time. The problem is that I'm applying for a fee waiver request (actually my GC is supposed to send the letter asking for a fee waiver). My GC has been very busy and she hasn't sorted out all the school forms yet and won't do it probably until 2nd or 3rd of January. She will be able, though, to send the fee waiver request letter (it's a matter of just a few minutes). What I'm afraid of is that when the colleges receive the fee waiver request from my GC on time, but they won't receive the school forms, they will see it as quite weird ('why has the student's GC submitted the fee waiver request on time but all the other forms are still missing?'). How do you think, can she send the request by the deadline and send all school forms a bit later? (assuming that the colleges will understand that the school forms arrive late)

If not, can another person from my school (my teacher; she knows me and my situation well, but she sends the teacher rec for me) submit the fee waiver request instead?

I'm really stressed about the issue.

Thank you all in advance

I think it’s fine if she sends the fee waiver separately. As long as the colleges get ALL the forms by some point, it’s okay.

I don’t know about your teacher sending it, since your GC signs the actual waiver, so it makes more sense for her to send it. I actually sent my own fee waivers by mail (after they were given the school seal and signed by my GC); it’s the norm in my school.

Don’t be stressed! Fee waivers are a headache, but just send them in as soon as you (or your GC) can.

Thanku you very much!
