Feedback on ACT Writing Promp

Prompt : In your opinion, should high schools libraries subscribe to popular magazines?

Answer: High schools libraries should not subscribe to popular magazines. By subscribing to magazines students are not encouraged to read more complex literature such as poems, and books.

Students who are not pushed into the direction of reading novels of any kind will not. Reading magazines only encourage reading magazines and is limited to that. Students should be encourage to read teens books such as Hunger Games, Twilight , or other teen series. By placing books with interesting covers at the front of the library will attract readers instead of magazines trying to attract read with celebrities drama or gossip. Reading magazines will not make the jump to other literature.

This was untimed and please be honest with your feedback and grade according to the ACT syllabus.

1, way too short

This is not the most current version of the ACT writing section. I urge you to visit the ACT Student website and look at the enhanced writing design, which debuted on September 2015.

As stated above this is not a current ACT prompt, so it is hard to help you.

Here is a current prompt to try.

Yes, I don’t think this a relative ACT prompt. Practicing with old material isn’t a good idea
