This past semester I had a professor that was very lax on so many things. There are two test scores that I unaware of because he never returned them. He also failed to hand back many completed assignments. My problem is huge. He grades on a point system. Here it is:

Course grades will reflect percentages of 720 possible points. Five exams will be given with each worth 100 points.

Attendance 30 points
Participation 20
4 Journals 100
Research 50
1 quiz 20
5 Exams 500

720 points total right? Now this...

letter equivalents
A 90%+ 648-720 points
B 80%+ 576-647
C 70%+ 504-575
D 60%+ 432-503
F less than 60% <432

Here's the kicker- We only had 4 Exams not 5. Wouldn't this scale be thrown off? How would he have to readjust his grading scale? Wouldn't you have to change things!?
