Brand new problem here...

So basically, I was at a borderline between a C+ and a B-. I lost the extra credit privilege points, which would have given me the B. I never used any of them, but he said he wouldn't give me the benefit of the doubt. Fair enough.

He also let us retake a test. I retook the very first one. I got a 60% on it originally. On the retake, I got a 67.6%, which placed me .6 short of the B.

But... Here's what happened. There's two versions of the tests. In the retake, we just change the ones we got wrong. He gave me the wrong version to change my answers with, so I only got 3-4 more right by coincidence than the last time. If I used the right test, then I easily get the amount I need.

What should I do? I asked him if he'll regrade it, but he's a fat jackass who hates sophomores and thinks he's all that because he went to UCLA.

I don't know who's fault it is. The conversation went like this:

Him: Which version?
Me: 1, um wait... Shows scantron
Him: That would be version 2.
Me: OK.

So he gave me the wrong version... But I feel like I should blame myself for not verifying.

Edited for clarification:
He lets us retake one test using the same scantron by erasing our wrong answers and putting in correct answers. HE gave me the wrong test version, but obviously he won't acknowledge that so let's just say I TOOK the wrong test version. So I didn't miss any more than I did before, I just didn't get very many more right. E.G.

"What is the Stochiometric ratio between HOH and Ne?

A) 1
B) 2
C) 9
D) 18

Originally put: A.

4 months later, this problem is a piece of cake, except that the correct answer, B, is now D on a different problem.

This was for AP Chemistry.
