So, I’ve received a couple decisions back from schools.
I was accepted into stony brook with a full tuition scholarship, Boston College, University of Rochester, and Binghamton
However, I got rejected from Johns Hopkins and WashU (both schools that I had some athletic support in). I feel as though my chances with the rest of my schools are looking a bit dreary as I was rejected from the above two schools with support… And without it… Who knows if my application wasn’t automatically thrown in the rejection pile.
Not really sure what my question is… Just looking for some reassurance I guess? I’m really nervous and am hoping some of these schools have good news for me.
My top choice right now is UPenn
I’m also waiting to hear back from:
Cornell, Duke, Emory, UNC, and Boston University
It’s a bit late to start panicking. In less than two weeks you’ll know all the results, and you’ve already gotten into a few great schools, so I assume you’re at least qualified for the others, and you have some great choices if you don’t get into any others.
You are into BC and you’re worried? Full tuition to Stony Brook? While I understand how nerve wracking this is, you need to put it in perspective. Please watch the news tonight and see some real problems.
I don’t mean to come off as ungrateful as I’m very grateful for the success I’ve had thus far. I know how trivial my problem might seem, but I can’t help but worry!
I think people are being a bit rude and I completely understand how you feel. I have been accepted to 3 schools so far but I am convinced I’ll get rejections from the rest of my schools. And I know that saying “relax” doesn’t really do a whole lot. But I assure you, you will go where you are meant to go. I bet you’ll get into BU and as for the rest, I can’t really say but I don’t think you should be too terribly worried. Try to enjoy the next few weeks because you’ll have some touch decisions to make with those choices come April And you will probably have even more! Good luck
You’ve already gotten into good schools (BC and Rochester) and a full-tuition scholarship (!) at another, so why the pessimism? Because you got rejected by two lottery schools? Have hope. The thing about this applying widely and to reaches is you have to expect some rejections. Remember, getting rejected by one school doesn’t mean you’ll be rejected by all of them. You will likely get accepted to a few more of your schools. Good luck!
