Feeling a little lost. Suggestion?

Okay, let me start by saying that my GPA and SAT scores are nothing great. However, I am extremely passionate about (and have very good grades in) Art and English, and am willing to work as hard as possible in college...So, here are my stats, and any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated. Sorry this is so vague, ha. The only school I am sure of applying to now is RISD, although also considering majoring in English elsewhere. Basically, I'm slightly lost.
(Schools I've looked at so far: RISD, MICA, Pratt for Art. Illustration major, most likely.
More uncertain where to look for English...Bard, Kenyon, Umass Amherst..)

Suggestions for safety schools with strong english/art programs, matches, reaches? I would prefer to stay around the North East, but it isn't a requirement. I know this is vague, again...ah well. :)

Could you post a sample piece of your work?

i only have a few horrid quality drawings up on facebook at the moment…I do have some writing and a few photos on Teen Ink ([Teen Ink | A teen literary magazine and website](http://www.teenink.com/mystuff.php?act=mywork)) But I was going to upload my current portfolio tomorrow morning :/

i just uploaded a few images lickety split to Flickr: [Flickr: sammy480’s Photostream](http://www.■■■■■■■■■■/photos/51883538@N02/)

These images are not necessarily part of my portfolio, there are more I have to add/subtract…But these are relatively recent. :)

bump bump dee bump. Any ideas?

I’m not well acquainted with the art schools’ admissions but all schools for English on your list are out of the question due to such poor SAT scores.

Yeah, I figured as much. I’m retaking in a month so hopefully there will be some improvement. Perhaps I posted this on the wrong board, maybe it should be on college admissions and selection…?

Can any of you think of any schools with strong english programs that would most likely accept me? Thanks so much
