Feeling like a helpless Mom...

First thing I told her to do was put a hot wash cloth on her ear. Of course her Dad tried to reiterate it to her except he told her to put the wet washcloth “down” and put her head down. I actually started laughing out loud because I told him no, she should put her head “down” and then put the wash cloth on “top” so she doesn’t get her bed soaked! He gave me that “Oh” look and explained it to her again … It really did lighten up the moment.

Ebeeee I will tell her to get some Claitin D, I thought that was more for allergies because I know she has Sudafed (a good thing to send them off to cell edge with).

Despite me asking her to take it easy, She send me a text from a movie last night, at least it wasn’t a party that went to 3 am!

Something similar happened to my daughter. Feeling sick, Sunday, no MD, no clinic, no transport, no friends around. I googled to find the nearest CVS to her. I called the CVS to find out if they had delivery service. They didn’t, but the pharmacist volunteered to get her assistant to drive out there with some claritin, etc. She just told me how much everything came up to, and I called back my daughter to tell her how much money she needed.
I’ve been a loyal customer of CVS ever since.

Claritin D is for allergies but something in the D really helps with blocked ears. I took prescribed Allegra D for a long time until they pulled it off the market. The Claritin D is OTC but behind the pharmacy desk because it is used to make meth among other things so they monitor how often you buy it.

And welcome to the helpless mom club.
