<p>Well, my school requires me to waive my rights. I’m guessing it mostly depends on your school. You should probably ask your guidance counselor/teachers/older students who’ve been through the process.</p>
<p>Ok thanks, current wisdom seems to be to WAIVE, that is what my daughter did.</p>
<p>and by waiving you aren’t giving up much. Even if you don’t waive, you won’t see the recommendation soon. By the time you matriculate, it won’t really matter much to you what the recommendation said.</p>
