<p>On the teacher's recommendations part of the common app, you have to select whether to waive the FERPA agreement and not be able to see your recommender's form or say no and be able to see it.</p>
<p>Which one should I pick? Does it matter for colleges whether I choose yes or no?</p>
<p>Also, I could not think of much to put in the Honors category. Does this include awards from competitions? Basically, I would like to have some examples of what would belong here.</p>
<p>National merit, various other awards. All american and things of that nature. I actually have NHS in there</p>
<p>So anything works from Science Olympiad to Math competitions for the "Honors" sections? I don't see how this section differs from extracurricular where they also ask what awards you have received from the activity.</p>

I think I will choose no for the form that the counselor fills out as she only works with the senior class and cannot know students after only few weeks. Also she gets angry if you want to apply to more than 3 or 4 schools</p>
