anyone have tips on ap physics B?

what should I study for english lit? my teacher thinks we're all going to get 0's and I think he's right! it's too late to start reading the suggested books, and I only have read about 2% of them :(

For history, all that's really important is names and dates and sequence. The multiple choice is pretty straight forward and the written you can choose from the topics so all you really need to do is be an expert in certain areas.

As for Physics, there's nothing you can really do except PRACTICE. Don't study the equations, don't read the book. Just. Practice.

Why dont you try PR?

hey Meng, would you recommend the 76 page notes or REA, given the limited time that I have.

I just started reading pr's government book, self-study.

Yeah. that book is awesome. Are you memorizing anything from there? i am also self studying that.

Haven't had experience with REA, I just read the notes but I'm sure either would be fine. The test isn't hard, it's just long.

did you do good by just reading the notes? Please be honest, i am desperate!! If i do bad, my parents will kill me!! lol

I got a 5 and I read the notes in 2 days the weekend before the test. I also did some practice tests (even before starting to study) to see what I needed to focus on and what was already okay.

What else? I paid attention in class, took notes. I DIDNT however go to any of the review sessions or anything.

You won't do bad :p

Aside from the fact that I can't believe it's already April 17, I feel pretty confident about the exams I'll be taking.

Bio: We've done a lot of practice, and every year about 50% of the class gets 5's (and just about everyone passes).
Calc BC: Self-studying C, but AB I feel I have down pretty well.
English Language: I need to do more work in the Barron's book, but we took a full-length test today which was good practice...
U.S. History: Trying to find time to finish the AMSCO book before our final in two weeks... but I feel a lot more prepared than I did for Euro, so that's good.

thanks, meng.

No problem :) Good luck on all your exams people!

Zach, I can't even do C normally in class, it's tough. Hope it goes okay.

AP Lit is harder than AP lang, in my opinion

If we get a 2 on the AP exam will that affect our UC GPA?

I just wanna know

no... ap's have no bearing on gpa?

hahah i love this thread all of you are lazy and llacking in time like me
calc bc (one chapter left)
CHEM starting thermo chem done with acids and bases
eng lang...... the tests are easy but the essays areee hellll!

ughhh im getting so nervous

also don't ya'll think its unfair that we have to take it 2.5 weeks earlier than when my brother took them (in 2000 and 2001) ..... started really eraly this year
